Bristol airport is located 8 miles from the bustling city centre and in very close proximity to South Wales towns and city's. It's currently handles around 4 million passengers a year although the government predicts that will increase to 12,000,000 over the next 20 years as the airport is further developed.

There are several last-minute shopping opportunities including Flying Visit and WHSmiths before departures and Nuance Tax & Duty Free, Fashion Gallery, Street Surf & Sand, WHSmith Books, Superdrug and Claire's once in the secure area.

From Bristol by car you would need to use the M5 exiting at junction 18 which is signposted for the airport, go past Bristol city football stadium and take the A38 to the airport. For sat-nav the address is BS48 3DY. Coming from the south leave the M5 at junction 22 then take the A38 it is then around 11 miles to the airport.

On arrival, Bristol international airport parking offers a large number of surface short term parking spaces directly in front of the terminal. Bristol airport car parking for long stay passengers is considerably more limited.

The airport services many UK regional airports including Manchester, Newcastle and Plymouth, as well as many locations spread across Europe including the main Spanish resorts, Greece and the large Greek islands, many French airports, as well as Turkey. There are also limited flights to the US, Caribbean, and West Africa.
