Situated less than 30 miles from the city of Sheffield and only 7 miles from Doncaster, Robin Hood International Airport is the U.K.'s newest purpose-built airport. Its convenient location means that it's already has multiple airlines flying to more than 45 destinations and carrying over 1 million people per annum. Another reason for the popularity of the airport is its location around 6 miles from Doncaster's famous racecourse

Within the terminal there are several well-known shopping outlets including Spar groceries with its usual selection of foods and magazines, there is also a WHSmith outlet as well as other facilities such as GameGrid entertainment. Air side will find Alpha Airport Shopping with its range of duty free cigarettes and spirits and so forth.

For people travelling with children there are baby changing facilities in all bathroom areas both in the public and secure areas. In addition, there are baby care rooms available with full facilities including nappy dispensers.

GamesGrids are dotted throughout both departure and check-in zone, in the upper deck departure lounge you'll also find a Fun Stop amusement centre. In addition, there is a Childs play area in departures close to customer services.

If you need food or something to drink before security there is Costa Coffee offering various hot drinks and fresh hot or cold snacks. There is also a Wetherspoon's pub called the Amy Johnson. Once you pass through security, there is another Costa Coffee outlet as well as Bar 08 offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Here you will also find another Wetherspoon's pub called the Finningly Windmill offering drinks and hot food.

For navigation purposes the airport's address is DN9 3RH and can be found by turning at junction 34 on the A1(m) and then taking the A614 and follow the signs. You are coming from the west along the M62 lead at junction 35 and follow the M 18 southbound weaving at junction five than east along the M180 until you reach junction one then take A614.
