Manchester Airport

Manchester airport is the country's major aviation hub outside of London, it is located 9 miles south of the city and each year caters to well over 22 million passengers taking them to destinations around the world.

The airports three terminals offers a huge selection of shops and stores including, La Senza, Thorntons, Travel and Relax, WHSmith, Travelcare, Boots and many other high street name shops.

Each of the terminals offers various Lounge facilities starting at around £18 per session. Terminal one has the Bollin Lounge, in terminal two there is Escape at Manchester Airport, as well as Air France Executive Lounge the Delta Executive Lounge and the Styal Lounge. In terminal three you will find the bmi Executive Lounge, BA Terraces Lounge and the Flybe Lounge.

There are around 50 eating and drinking establishments within the airport complex including Lancaster Brasserie, Harry Ramsdens, The Food Village, Mancuniun Cafe, Starbucks, County Kitchen, and many other varied establishments.

The satellite navigation position for the airport is M90 3NY, in good traffic conditions the airport is 20 minutes drive from central Manchester along the M 56 to its own trunk road at junction 5; each terminal is then well signposted.

Manchester airport parking has a huge number of short-term spaces but care is needed to make sure that the parking is close to your required terminal. Manchester airport car parking also offers a large number of long term parking spaces for passenger's convenience.
